Black on the surface. The city's actual color underneath.
A wide-leg pant in black silk/rayon twill, double-knee construction.
Black and brown is the fabric of Los Angeles. Cooking at the restaurants, sewing at the production houses, keeping the city alive. This pair carries that in black, with diagonal double-knee paneling marked by copper rivets at each seam intersection. Two patch pockets sit at the back, one carrying a woven Amor Prohibido tab. Structured through the waist, loose through the leg.
Nothing printed. The silhouette, rivets and seams do what a logo would.
Part of Los Angeles, June 2026. Amor falls into shape. Nothing pure, everything worn, aged, remembered.
The Object
Double-knee paneling with reinforced diagonal seams and copper rivets. Utility detailing pulled from work pants, not fashion archives. Hidden zip fly under a button-tab closure. Elastic waistband for movement without losing the wide-leg shape. Two rear patch pockets, one finished with a woven brand tab.
